Who's Behind This Site
GpxFix is developed by Roy, a hiker and trail/mountain runner, who combines a passion for landscape photography with outdoor adventure. And, of-course you can find me on Strava and LinkedIn.
How It Started
The idea for GpxFix came from a common frustration I experienced while recording my trail runs. GPS devices sometimes produce tracks with errors. After getting tired of bad GPS data from trail runs, I decided to build a simple, free tool that anyone could use to clean up their GPS tracks quickly and easily. What started as a small personal utility grew into this site, and I hope it saves you the same headaches it saved me.
